Where is your soap from?
Our soaps are official Savons de Marseille, they are made in France in La Savonnerie du Fer à Cheval which guarantees 100% vegetal recipe with no added colourings, fragrances, preservatives or any artificial ingredient. The soap is made in the sameway as it has been been for hundreds of years. It is only made in the Marseille region of Provence in France.
Where are your brushes from?
Our brushes are made in China.
Why change from a sponge to a brush?
We wrote a blog about this but in short most kitchen sponges and scourers are made from plastic, which cannot be recycled. It also releases micro-plasticsinto the ocean.
Is Savon de Marseille as powerful as washing liquid?
Our savon de Marseille will leave your dishes as clean as washing up liquid, yes! It might take you a few times to get used to it but it foams and removes the grease. We will tell you a secret, if you let your dishes soak it is even better! Less elbow grease and more results!
How long will my soap last for?
It will of course depend how much you use it, for what you use it: only to wash dishes? Wash hands? Also for clothing?
To give you an idea we are a family of 3, wash all our kitchen knives, pots and pans by hands three times a day and a soap lasts us between 6-8 months!
Is there any plastic in my order?
We will send your order in a cardboard box and limit any additional paper or wrapping but for the plastic or paper wrapping around your soap, in order to protect it.
Are your products Vegan?
The Savon de Marseille soaps are Vegan, as are our anti-stain soaps. Our brushes are cruelty-free too :) If we start selling any non-vegan product we will let you know!

How do I pay?
When you reach the checking out page, initially you will have the option of express payment via PayPal or Apple Pay (you do not need a Paypal account).
Or you just follow the checkout process.
All major cards are accepted.
When will my order ship?
We will ship your order within the 4 next working days, usually on the next working day. As we are a family-run business, life might happen and delay us but we will always let you know! If your order is urgent (it’s a gift or you are about to run out, oh no!) let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!).
However we cannot be held responsible for any delay once your order is with the courier. We understand the wait can be frustrating but after years working in customer service Cloé can tell you most orders will arrive and if not let us know we will offer you a resolution!
What are your shipping options?
We send out all orders via Royal Mail 2nd class tracked. Orders are packed by hand by Cloé or Rory.
If strike action is impacting delivery we will use either Evri or Yodel.
Currently we only ship within the UK.
How much is shipping?
Standard UK Postage & Packaging is £3.95.

Can I return my order?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
